This will be a short post today because I am moving right along with some new paintings and don't want to loose my momentum. Below is one that I finished last night.

- I have been a working artist for all of my adult life and have been selling paintings on Ebay and this web site for over a year. My background is in decorative product design and textiles. After graduating from Syracuse University School of Art and getting my Masters of Fine Arts Degree from New York University, I started my 25+ year career in the fashion and home textiles industry. Five years ago I began painting fine art canvases in acrylics. I applied my experience in home fashion, and my love of nature, and found that I could create beautiful art work for the home. I worked mainly through interior decorators and home stagers until recently when I started selling my work online to the public. My focus is on PLANET EARTH and the glories of nature. I'm a pet lover and an avid gardener. I love to paint animals and botanical subjects. The shapes of leaves and flowers are forever interesting and fun to interpret. The colors can be anything in the spectrum to create a mood.
